It gives me great pleasure to deliver this message on behalf of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA) welcoming everyone in the field of sexual medicine and men’s health from all over the world to participate in 18th Annual Fall Meeting of SMSNA in San Antonio, Texas, United States of America on October 26 -29, 2017.
The 18th Annual Fall Meeting has been well organized by the scientific committee to fulfill the mission of the SMSNA to promote the highest standards of care in sexual medicine and men’s health and to provide a living forum for the exchange of ideas and the latest research in the field of sexual medicine and men’s health. The program not only includes traditional state-of-the-art lectures given by world renowned experts, it also provides stages for up-coming stars and young physicians and scientists from every corner of the world to present their newest innovative research. The educational didactics and cadaver labs for residents and fellows are specifically designed for our future generations in sexual medicine. Additionally, the 18th Annual Fall Meeting will have four new initiatives with our first full-day Men’s Health Symposium, first Chinese Andrology-Sexual Medicine Societies/SMSNA symposium, first China-Japan-Korea (CJK) symposium and first International Master Class in Prosthetic Surgery.
San Antonio is the seventh-most populated city in the United States and the second-most populated city in the state of Texas with distinct cultures of historic Texas ranchers and Mexican settlers. The term “Tex-Mex” can’t be more meaningful than in San Antonio, reflecting the confluence of these cultures. The city has numerous painstakingly preserved landmarks including the Alamo and San Antonio Missions National Historical Park – which is the most famous attraction and a Unesco World Heritage Site, the Casa Navarro State Historic Site, and the King William Historic District. The 15 mile long San Antonio River Walk is flanked on either side by a plethora of restaurants, shops and hotels throughout the downtown area. You can easily experience river boat rides passing by historical architecture in your free time during our annual meeting.
I hope you will join us for 18th Annual Fall Meeting of SMSNA in beautiful San Antonio and experience all this vibrant city has to offer!
