GENERAL MEETING INFORMATION

Meeting Format
This is the 18th Scientific Meeting of the SMSNA and the 15th World Meeting of the ISSM. The meeting is being held August 26 – 30, 2012 at the Sheraton Chicago, IL USA. Specialists from all over the world will discuss the latest research findings and practical data in sexual medicine. Specialists include (but are not limited to) scientists, clinicians and physicians in field of urology, andrology, gynecology, psychology and psychiatry.

Cost: 1 ticket is included with registration; additional tickets are $65.00.
The Sexual Medicine Society of North America and International Society for Sexual Medicine welcomes attendees to the 2012 World Meeting on Sexual Medicine. Members can visit with exhibitors and connect with fellow members all while enjoying delicious drinks and Hors d’oeuvres.

Room Rate
SMSNA and ISSM have reserved a block of rooms at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers at a discounted rate of $189/night plus tax for standard single/double occupancy rooms.

Hotel Deadline
The deadline to receive the SMSNA and ISSM group rate is July 30, 2012. SMSNA and ISSM encourages you to make your reservation early, as the hotel and discount block may sellout before this date. After this date, reservations will be accepted on a space-available basis and higher rates may apply.

Hotel Deposit & Cancellation Policy
A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold a reservation. All initial deposits are refunded and cancellation charges are waived if cancellation is made at least (72) hours prior to guest arrival.

TRAVEL & TRANSPORTATION

Airport Information
Both Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Chicago Midway Airport (MDW) are within close proximity to the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. Driving time is approximately 35 minutes and 25 minutes respectively.

Car Rental Information
Avis Rent-A-Car is the official rental car company for the SMSNA/ISSM World Meeting on Sexual Medicine. For reservations, please call +1- 800-331-1600 . You must mention the code “J901055” to receive the discounted rates.

Parking
The Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers offers both self parking ($35 per day) and valet parking ($49 per day). Please note that rates are subject to change.

Public Transportation
Both Chicago airports offer easy access to the Chicago Transit Authority’s “L” System. From O’Hare International Airport, a one-way fare downtown on the Blue Line costs $2.25. Early Registration Deadline
Meeting registration forms must be received by the Executive Office by 8/1/12 to receive the discounted early registration rate. All forms received after this deadline will be assessed the regular registration fee.

Registration Cancellation & Refund Policy
Registration refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Executive Office by 8/1/12. All refund requests will be subject to a $100 processing fee. No refunds will be made after 8/1/12.
