Dr. Ghazi presents the development of an expert-guided, high-fidelity, inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP) procedural simulation platform using a combination of 3-dimensional (3D) printing and hydrogel casting technology. The simulation was developed utilizing the backward design educational framework that allowed to encompass all essential elements, steps, and potential errors of the procedure. Dr. Ghazi also discusses the future utilization of this model for remote training using a mixed reality platform.
