Fellowship Overview
The Men’s Health/Andrology fellowship program at Henry Ford provides the urologist an opportunity to
gain all the tools and expertise necessary to become a thought leader in the field of men’s health. The
fellowship has an emphasis on male reproductive medicine and surgery, sexual dysfunction including
Peyronie’s disease and complex urologic prosthetics, hypogonadism, as well as male reconstructive
surgery. This includes the management, evaluation, and treatment of:
- Erectile dysfunction including the use of penile ultrasound
- Peyronie’s disease
- Ejaculatory dysfunction
- Testosterone deficiency
- Male infertility including obstructive and non-obstructive azoospermia
- Vasectomy and vasectomy reversal
- Chronic scrotal pain
- Conditions related to GU cancer survivorship
- Male urologic reconstruction including urethroplasty, scrotoplasty, buried penis and other genital reconstructive procedures
Research Focus
The faculty are involved in several active projects involving male infertility, varicoceles, NOA,
vasectomy and vasectomy reversal, chronic scrotal pain, hypogonadism, gender affirming surgery,
urethroplasty, GU cancer survivorship, and other aspects of urologic reconstruction.
