What inspired you to work in sexual medicine?

What drew me to sexual medicine is the privilege of helping people reclaim a part of their lives that is deeply tied to identity, connection, and overall well-being. As a urologist, I’m honored to support patients in optimizing their function across every stage of life — whether they’re navigating illness‑ or injury-related changes, recovering after cancer treatment, or simply facing the natural shifts that come with aging.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your career?

Life has a way of challenging all of us, and sexual health is often one of the first areas to be affected. Being able to use my skills to help individuals live the life they want to live — or discover a new, fulfilling normal — is profoundly meaningful. Restoring sexual function isn’t just about physiology; it’s about restoring confidence, intimacy, and quality of life. That’s why this field inspires me every day.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

I am an accomplished jewelry designer and Latin Rhythms dancer.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Be grateful for everything you have.

What would your ideal vacation be?

Warm lagoon surrounded by picturesque mountains. Swim, hike, climb, and immerse yourself in local culture.
