What inspired you to work in sexual medicine?
In training, I realized that much of urology focuses on cancer treatment, and while life-saving, these treatments can be destructive to patients' quality of life. Sexual medicine is the opposite. As a field, it does not focus on life-saving pathology; however, the quality-of-life improvements are often more meaningful to patients.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your career?
There is no better feeling than when patients say things like, "I got my life back". This can be from something as simple as prescribing testosterone to more complicated surgeries such as placing an artificial sphincter. Either way, it feels great hearing that you have meaningfully improved someone's life.

What is something most people don’t know about you?
During high school, I obtained my 6-pack captain license to work on a charter fishing boat in New Jersey. I still keep my license active in case the medicine career doesn't work out.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
The most powerful force in the world is compounding. It applies to more than just finances.

What would your ideal vacation be?
I enjoy active vacations. I'm incapable of lounging around a pool for more than 2 hours.
