Statement of Need: Urology Practitioners must develop competence in implementation of the latest clinical practice guidelines and appropriate use of new and emerging surgical techniques to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Learning Objectives

After participation in this CME activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Evaluate the current evidence surrounding regenerative therapies for sexual medicine conditions.

  2. Describe basic details of atypical therapies for androgen supplementation, including with DHEA, DHT, SARMs, and other similar therapies.

  3. Utilize management strategies for non-PD related penile pain.

  4. Perform an adequate penile ultrasound using appropriate techniques.

  5. Manage complex penile prosthesis scenarios using contemporary techniques.

Accreditation: The American Urological Association (AUA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation: The American Urological Association designates this (live) activity for a maximum of (TBD) AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Other Learners: The AUA is not accredited to offer credit to participants who are not MDs or DOs. However, the AUA will issue documentation of participation that states that the activity was certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

Evidence-Based Content: It is the policy of the AUA to ensure that the content contained in this CME activity is valid, fair, balanced, scientifically rigorous, and free of commercial bias.
