Conflict of Interest & Ethics
The Conflict of Interest and Ethics Committee supports integrity, transparency, and compliance with SMSNA's conflict-of-interest and ethics policies. The committee reviews annual conflict-of-interest disclosures, evaluates potential conflicts, and recommends appropriate management measures. It also reviews ethics concerns referred by SMSNA leadership, provides findings and recommendations to the appropriate governing body, and recommends updates to relevant policies and procedures to uphold the Society's ethical standards.
