2021 SMSNA Young Clinicians Research Grant Recipient Announced

We are pleased to announce that the 2021 SMSNA Young Clinicians Research Grant has been awarded to Dr. Nannan Thirumavalavan for his project titled, "Interplay Between Hypogonadism and Solid Organ Transplant Outcomes."

Dr. Thirumavalavan is the Chief of Male Reproductive and Sexual Health at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, and Assistant Professor of Urology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Thirumavalavan earned his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine, completed his residency in Urology at Boston Medical Center, and completed his fellowship training in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is an active member of the SMSNA and currently serves on multiple committees, including the Educational Projects, Research & Awards, and the Young Clinicians committee.
