SMSNA Research Fund on the Use of Eroxon

The application period for the 2026 SMSNA Research Fund on the Use of Eroxon now open through September 18.

*This grant is generously funded through an educational grant by Haleon to the SMSNA

Purpose:

The primary purpose of the grant is to support research related expenses. The grant may supplement the grantee’s salary if not already fully funded. Expenses may not include entertainment, recreation or lavish accommodations, indirect costs or benefits that are disproportionate to the Purpose. Proof of grant expenditure is required upon request. The purpose of the SMSNA Research Fund on the Use of Eroxon is to fund research projects related to the following areas of interest:

(i) Younger men such as the age 18-40 years old that are experiencing erectile dysfunction symptoms

(ii) Men with subclinical erectile dysfunction, generally defined as men with erectile symptoms but without features or symptoms that would be inclusive of clinically defined erectile dysfunction research that involves:

(iii) New findings from men using Eroxon in the real world/ post marketing setting

(iv) Any future subjects around this subject matter

$50,000 is available annually for a period of three years.

  • Applications will be accepted only from SMSNA members in good standing.
  • For MD’s, a medical license valid in the United States or Canada and proof of satisfactory completion of residency training are required.
  • Institution is compliant with Good Clinical Laboratory Practice or "GLPC"
  • Institution is compliant with Good Clinical Practice or "GPC"
