Dr. Edward Karpman is a board certified urologist and one of the few urologists who is also fellowship trained in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, Microsurgery and Male Sexual Dysfunction. He is the medical director of the Men’s Health Center at El Camino Hospital Los Gatos and the California Vasectomy and Reversal Center. He grew up in Southern California and attended college at the University of California, Davis where he graduated with Honors in Biological Sciences. He went on to medical school at the University of Vermont where he was awarded the James Demeules surgical research award and scored in the top 5% of all medical school graduates in the nation on his medical board exams. He completed his urologic surgery training at the University of California, Davis Medical Center where he received several awards for his research and publication. Dr. Karpman was then awarded a prestigious fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. There he specialized in Male Infertility, Microsurgery and Male Sexual Dysfunction. Dr Karpman has authored numerous articles on the subjects of urology, sexual dysfunction and male infertility. He has authored the chapter on sperm retrieval techniques in the definitive textbook on male infertility. He has been interviewed by NBC news, Fox radio, NPR, Parents magazine and Bay Area Parent magazine. He has presented research in the fields of male fertility,microsurgery and penile implants at national meetings. He serves as a proctor for laser surgery of the prostate, penile implants and male incontinence procedures, teaching other physicians to perform these operations. He is involved in the development of new technologies for the treatment of prostate enlargement. Dr. Karpman has been an invited lecturer on the subjects of testosterone replacement, male sexual dysfunction and male infertility. He serves as a proctor for laser surgery of the prostate, penile implants and male incontinence operations, helping other physicians to perform these operations.
Dr. Landon Trost is a Urologist and affiliate faculty at Brigham Young University, specializing in vasectomy reversals, Peyronie’s Disease, and male infertility. He is the Director of the Male Fertility and Peyronie’s Clinic and the President of the charity, CURE PD. He received his undergraduate training at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and Valedictorian. He underwent his medical training at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA where he received all honors and was awarded Junior AOA status. He completed residency training in urology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and was named as a Mayo Scholar Recipient. He continued specialty fellowship training in andrology and infertility at Tulane University, University of Florida, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He then served as the Chief of Andrology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Trost has served in several positions including on the American Urological Association Guideline Panels for Hypogonadism, Peyronie’s Disease, and Priapism, Chair of the Education Committee for the International Society of Sexual Medicine, Chair of the Website Committee for the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, Board of Directors for the International Society of Sexual Medicine and Sexual Medicine Society of North America, American Board of Urology Examination Committee, and as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Sexual Medicine. He contributed to the core curriculum material for the American Urological Association on the topics of male hypogonadism and male infertility and was on the guideline panel for penile prostheses, vacuum therapies, traction devices, and vascular surgery for erectile dysfunction during the 2015 International Consultation on Sexual Medicine.
Nearly 20 years ago Dr. Perito developed a boutique practice in Coral Gables, Florida treating Men’s Health issues with Erectile Dysfunction being his primary focus. Dr. Perito’s techniques and surgical pearls are derived from these 20 years of IPP experience having now performed over 8,000 penile implant cases making him the highest volume implanter in the world for more than 10 years. During this time, Dr. Perito’s practice has gained a global presence as a treatment center for men with erectile dysfunction and has also become the #1 training facility where doctors from around the world come to learn his minimally invasive technique (The Perito Implant™). With over 500 penile implant cases per year, Dr. Perito performs more penile implants than any country other than the US. Recently, Dr. Perito developed the first safe and efficacious office-based treatment for penile girth enhancement. This novel technique has been shown to have impressive and durable cosmetic results.
Dr. Perito attended Emory University for undergraduate training, University of Maryland Medical School, University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital for general surgery and his urology residency and a one-year fellowship at Flinder’s University, South Australia. He is a board-certified member of the American Urological Association, Sexual Medicine Society, Society of Prosthetic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Among his many publications, Dr. Perito has written extensively on a number of important topics, including penile implantation under local anesthesia and new techniques to avoid infection during the penile implant procedure. Dr. Perito is an active member of the American Urological Association and the Sexual Medicine Society; associations that have helped him establish a penile implant training program for surgeons desiring to learn his minimally invasive technique.

Kambiz Tajkarimi, MD is a board-certified urologist and prosthetic surgeon in Northern Virginia. He has a solo private practice. He is a graduate of the George Washington University urology residency in 2008. The focus of his practice is Erectile dysfunction, penile prosthesis, Penuma penis enlargement, Peyronies disease, high definition Liposculpture/ body contouring & cosmetic surgery. He is founder and CEO of Reflexonic, a medical device manufacturer with focus on sexual medicine & urological solutions. In 2020 he was the first surgeon to perform scarless Penuma implant using scrotal approach. This technique and other minimally invasive surgical maneuvers that he has developed significantly enhances the safety of the Penuma implant and reduces risks and complications.
