Dr. Bernie is a board-certified Urologist and the Director of Male Sexual and Reproductive Medicine at Indiana University. She is an Assistant professor of urology and the Andrology Fellowship Director. She is an active member of the ISSM and the SMSNA and sits on the SMSNA Board of Directors. She specializes in Men’s Health, Erectile Dysfunction, Penile implants, Peyronie’s Disease, Male Infertility, Fertility Preservation and Cancer Survivorship.
Dr. Hehemann is an Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Washington and Associate Program Director of the UW Andrology Fellowship. She focuses her clinical practice on treating men with advanced erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, male factor infertility, male stress urinary incontinence, and cancer survivorship.
Dr. Sherita A. King is on faculty, as an associate professor, at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and the Augusta Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She completed Doctor of Medicine degree and urologic surgery training at the Medical College of Georgia and a sexual medicine fellowship at San Diego Sexual Medicine. Her clinical interests include erectile dysfunction, male incontinence, prosthetics, Peyronie’s disease, and female and male sexual dysfunction. Dr. King prides herself on taking time to not just assess her patient, but look at the couple as a whole to rebuild intimacy in their relationship and training the next generation of urologists.
Ranjith Ramasamy is the Director of Reproductive Urology as well as an Associate professor at the University of Miami in Florida. As a Urologist and Microsurgeon, Dr. Ramasamy specializes in the treatment of disorders of male infertility and sexual dysfunction and expert in vasectomy reversal and penile prosthesis. Dr. Ramamsamy completed his Urology residency training at Weil Cornell Medical College and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He then completed a National Institutes of Health sponsored fellowship in Male Reproductive medicine and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. In addition to his clinical accolades, Dr. Ramasamy has been integral to the advancement of male reproductive medicine and surgery. To date, he has published over 350 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and several book chapters; he currently serves on the editorial board of Andrology, Asian Journal of Andrology and Urology as well as as an editorial reviewer for medical journals such as Journal of Urology, Fertility and Sterility, European Urology and British Journal of Urology. Furthermore, he has been invited to lecture at numerous international conferences including the American Urological Association, Chinese, Malaysian and Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction. Outside of clinical medicine and academic research, Dr. Ramasamy has made a significant effort to share his wealth of knowledge and serve as a mentor for future urologists. As a physician, Dr. Ramasamy maintains a dedication to patient care, academia and the training of future urologists by directing a fellowship program in andrology and a research fellowship year for underrepresented medical students aspiring to apply to urological residency. Most recently, Dr. Ramasamy was awarded the 2023 Gold Cystoscope by the American Urological Association for his efforts in academia, research, and mentorship.
